Goodrington Prom is situated in Paignton in Torbay. It is very easy to find, just follow the signs to Quaywest opposite the Torbay Leisure Centre, park in either of the two council car parks if you are extremely wealthy (NOTE these are locked at certain times of the night, see details on charges board) or you can park adjacent to YoungsPark and save a few bob but endure a bit of a walk.
This is a great venue on the flat so suitable for the less able bodied angler or companion. Wherever you park it is not far to the Prom, another great feature is railings – Rod Rests, lighting in the evening, toilets, a nearby pub and a cold water tap on the prom itself. On the down side beach huts and popular with tourists means it can be cramped, also not a venue for specimen fish, but great for a Mackerel bashing session. There are other venues near the Prom such as the beach which is quite shallow and Fairy Cove to the left which is best avoided unless you have the climbing skills of a mountain goat!!
